I work as a freelance recruiter and recruitment strategist for pharma, biotech and medical device employers: single searches, embedded capacity on your team, and fixed-scope reviews of how your hiring actually runs. My focus is the roles that stay open longest, including the statutory positions German pharmaceutical and medical device law requires a company to appoint. Because I also coach candidates, I see the same market from both sides, which is why I can tell you early when a search is scoped in a way that will not fill.

What you need to know

What is reverse recruitment in pharma?
Instead of hunting alone, you hire a recruiter who works for you rather than for the employer. For roles in Germany, I search LinkedIn, Google Jobs and company career pages for strong matches, share each one with my read on it, and once you green-light a role I write the tailored CV and cover letter. You submit the application yourself, from your own account. I do not contact employers on your behalf, and I take no fee from any employer for this work. For roles outside Germany I work as a coach: you run the search, I prepare you and your documents for it.
How is this different from a headhunter?
A headhunter is paid by the company that hires you, so their advice follows the mandates they hold. Here you are the client and you pay a fixed fee for the work, not for a placement. I also recruit for pharma employers on separate mandates; if one of those roles fits you, I tell you it exists and you apply through the employer's normal process, at no cost from you. Applications go out from you, role by role. Interviews, negotiations and decisions stay with you, with my preparation before every round.
Do you submit applications or contact employers for me?
No. I prepare, you send. Every application leaves from your own account and every conversation with an employer is yours. That keeps you in control of your search and keeps the service within the rules for candidate-paid support, which differ from country to country and in several European countries prohibit paid placement outright.
Do you work with clients outside DACH, elsewhere in Europe or in the US?
Yes. Sessions run by video call in English, German or Polish, and clients elsewhere in Europe or in the US work with me in English. Berlin afternoons overlap with US East Coast mornings, which keeps scheduling workable. My deepest market knowledge is DACH pharma; the mechanics that decide outcomes, applicant tracking systems, document structure, interview and negotiation preparation, carry across pharma markets, and 5 of my 14 insider years were at ICON and Syneos Health.
What does it cost?
Prices depend on your career stage. Students and academia, professionals and managers, and directors and executives each have their own page with the CV, coaching and reverse recruitment prices for that level. Interview coaching, salary negotiation coaching and Arbeitszeugnis decoding are €349 each and can be booked on their own. Employer engagements are quoted on request.
Can I book interview coaching or salary negotiation coaching on its own?
Yes, all three standalone products work without a programme. Interview coaching and simulation is €349: a 90-minute mock interview for the target role with structured feedback. Salary negotiation coaching, also €349, covers benchmarking, counter-offer strategy and a script for the specific offer. Arbeitszeugnis decoding, €349, is a line-by-line analysis of a German employment reference with the real grade and a corrected counter-draft.
