Who is LAUNCHPAD for?
LAUNCHPAD is built for pharma career starters, graduates, PhD candidates, postdocs, and career changers, with fewer than two years of pharma industry experience and targeting roles in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
How does LAUNCHPAD differ from a CV-rewrite service?
A CV rewrite delivers a single document. LAUNCHPAD delivers a CV plus LinkedIn rewrite plus three 45-minute strategy sessions plus four weeks of messaging support. The CV is the artifact; the programme is the strategy.
Is German required?
No. Andreas Schulz coaches in German, English, and Polish. The CV is delivered in the language you target. For DACH-only candidates, the German Lebenslauf format is included on request.
How long does LAUNCHPAD take to complete?
Six months from the first session. The three 45-minute sessions are scheduled freely within that window at your pace, and unused sessions expire at its end. Messaging support runs for four weeks from the first session.
Why am I rejected when I am technically a good fit?
Because being a good fit and being read as a good fit are two different things. A rejection rarely means someone examined your qualifications and decided against them. It usually means your profile was not recognisable as a match in the first few seconds. The order of your roles, what you call the function, whether a line states a result or describes a task: that is what decides whether anyone reads on.
What happens to my application after I send it?
It goes through an applicant tracking system, usually Workday or Eightfold, which compares your profile against the requirements in the posting. A recruiter then sees a filtered list. The first look at a profile takes seconds rather than minutes. Knowing that sequence changes how the documents are written.
How does a shortlist actually get made?
Rarely by comparing every application. More often a handful of profiles are marked as promising early and everything else is measured against that set. Arriving late, or convincing only on second reading, means competing against a standard that is already fixed. That is not a complaint about recruiters. It is what time pressure and case volume produce.
